A mobile device is given a specific identification number called an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity). It functions as a digital fingerprint for your phone and offers details about the manufacturer, model, and serial number of the gadget.
1. There are a few ways to identify your phone's IMEI:
Simply dialling *#06# from the dialer will display the IMEI information on your phone's display.
For later reference, note down the IMEI number.
2. Double-check your settings:
Android-powered gadgets Under Settings > About Device, look for Status. The IMEI number should be listed somewhere.
On an iOS device, go to Settings > General > About. The IMEI number can be found in the About section.
It's important to keep your IMEI number safe and easily accessible.
In order to identify the device, make warranty claims, or report a phone as lost or stolen, among other things, it can be necessary.
